It’s a gray, rainy Monday where I am, so I thought it would be a good day for a bonus video. This video was submitted by CAD subscriber Pamela Theis. Pamela did a series of videos for her students at Florida State University so that they would be able to revisit her demos outside of class if they needed to. In this one, she shares some good advice on how to make sturdy, strong bowls. I too cannot view this video and others though in the near past I had no problems. THe video trectangle becomes a blank black rectangle. Have tried everything I know. Also having same problem with more recent ones. Have updated Flash player, hit hte compatibility icon etc etc. Help! Barbara

C, did you try hitting the “compatibility view?” It’s on the right side of your address bar (top of page) next to your refresh icon. It is a rectangle with a zagged line through it. Good luck!

My system is up to date but I’m unable to even view the link to the video on your first pages. I was only able to view the centering video by going to the page where you buy the dvd and then clicking on the video there. I’ve done everything I’m supposed to according to your FAQ. This has been an issue for me for quite some time and I’ve almost abandoned your site because of it. I love your info and your store but the lack of being able to access the daily videos is a problem for me.

Thanks Pamels, A client asked me to throw her a set of nesting bowls so this video was very timely. Two questions. First, you mentioned not to pull beyond your base for fear of slumping. Explain. Also, is there a scale of weight versus small, medium, large bowls. I know there are a ton of factors but if, say a 3# ball in a medium ball , what would be needed for a large and small to nest together. Thanks for your help. Larry
