Today’s video is one of our honorable mentions from our recent Studio Tour Video Contest. It was submitted by Dianne Kimball of Steilacoom, Washington. In the video, Dianne demonstrates how she makes lovely clay flowers on her pottery wheel. I thought it was an appropriate project to share right about now, what with spring flowers popping up all around and summer fast approaching. You won’t have to look far for inspiration. Not only is it a fun little Spring project, but Dianne also has some great tips such as the nifty way she attaches her flowers to their metal “stems.” – Jennifer Harnetty, editor.
