A while back we posted an article in which Jason Bige Burnett explained the monoprinting technique he uses in his work. When I heard he was presenting at the Potters Council Surface and Form workshop last fall, I knew we had to get this technique on video.

What we captured is too much good information for just one clip, so I split it into two clips. In this one, Jason shows us how he screen prints imagery onto newsprint. On Monday, we’ll show the other half in which Jason shows us how he then gets that imagery off of the newsprint and onto the clay. – Jennifer Harnetty, editor.
