Justin Rothshank returns to Ceramic Arts Daily today to demonstrate another fun decal technique. This time Justin turns the laser decal process upside down. By inverting a black-and-white photo in Photoshop, he makes the subject of the image appear as a highlight, while the background is the dark background.

In this excerpt from his DVD Ceramic Decals: New Ideas and Techniques, Justin takes us step by step through the process, including the photoshop portion. – Jennifer Harnetty, editor.
