| Studio Description: | The artist started as a Sculptor and Wood Carver and slowly moved to Ceramics. The studio grew from a one man shop for making ceramic molds. Early on ceramic artist Barry Porter needed to replicate some of his own original architectural tiles and taught himself the art of mold making both press and poured– then started doing it for others that needed to replicate sculpture. As that grew, the artist developed his own line of Architectural Ceramic Tiles as a mere hobby. Now the studio works mainly with direct clients and designers for one-of-a kind implementations. The studio also specializes in water fountains and Arts and Crafts duplications of vintage art tile as well as completely original art tile. | ||
