The Hjalmarson’s work in studio space to the rear of their historic home. Halldor has built most of this working space along with his 40 cubic foot gas kiln. He usually creates vessels on his wheel and then sprigs low relief sculpture elements of our Sonoran Desert onto the surface. He has sculpted a collection of several hundred images, and has developed and refined is unusual technique.


Located in the Roosevelt Historic District of central Phoenix; one block west of Cenral and one block south of McDowell. Only a one block walk west of the Cultural District Light Rail Station.
