Studio Description: |
Studio visits scheduled by e-mail. My work is both functional, and sculptural. I am influenced and motivated by the immense range of beautiful forms in nature. I am especially interested in the simultaneously delicate and strong aspect of nature and how that paradox is recreated over and over again, in so many places, and on so many levels. I love the idea of art being everyday in every way, and I intend my functional work to reflect that. In my sculptures I work more in the dream arena, 3d streams of consciousness and intentions of the heart. I want my work to express those qualities. |
