| Studio Description: | Potter, David Plunkett, uses a number of different types of clay, including terra cotta, brown stoneware, and a beautiful white stoneware. He creates most of his own clazes from his own glaze formulas. There is no lead in any of the glazes. All of the functional pieces are food-safe, microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, and ovenproof. The pottery you will find at David’s home gallery includes Raku, earthenware, and stoneware pottery. Many of the pieces are decorative. Others are more functional, such as his special cornbread dishes, teapots, pitchers, platters, plates, mugs, luminaries, and much more. Clay and pottery tools are also available. | ||
