| Studio Description: | The studio is located at the edge of an Apple Orchard. A stream running through the property makes a perfect setting for a pit firing and raku area. There are two electric kilns, two raku kilns and a 3′ x 6′ x 3′ deep pit. There is also a downdraft barrel kiln for smaller loads. There is an area for storage of clays and chemicals for making glazes and plenty of work space. An attached two car garage area provides for showroom space. The grounds have plenty of ”yard art” and sculpture with room for expansion. While I do some cone 6 functional work most of my ceramics are raku, pit fired or some other low firing process. | ||
