Important
Announcement: Potters Council is extending its deadline for the juried
show “FILL-adelphia” to be held in conjunction with NCECA 2010 to
September 1, 2009. We have had many requests from Members for an
extension. So if you have been thinking about submitting NOW is the
time.
Potters Council Exhibition: “FILL-adelphia”
The Potters Council announces it’s first juried exhibition of members’ to be held in conjunction with NCECA 2010 in Philadelphia, PA.
The name of the show is “FILL-adelphia”.
We challenge our members to create work exploring all the definitions of the word “FILL”. “FILL-adelphia” will be an exhibition of works exploring the idea of holding, enclosure or containment. Interpretations can be as functional as a beer mug, as symbolic as a mother’s arms, or as metaphorical as a box of rain. We hope to see the diversity, skill and commitment of our members expressed through this broad and inclusive theme.

JUROR Sherman Hall will be the juror. He is the editor of Ceramics Monthly magazine, as well as a practicing ceramic artist. His vast experience gives him a uniquely qualified perspective on contemporary and historical ceramics.
