Studio Description:
I am Cathy Lawley, a sculptor and raku expert practicing my art from my picturesque studio called ‘Fried Mudd’ (with its own gallery attached), on the Maleny hinterland tourist drive. I have been a professional artist for 26 years and have exhibited in acclaimed galleries with international and national clients buying my work.

I run a variety of workshops at my studio including:

  • ‘Fun in the Mud’ weekend workshops for adults,
  • corporate team building workshops,
  • girlfriend weekends,
  • 3 x hrs creative,
  • Shades of Clay at Twilight workshops, and
  • ‘Mud Pies’ for children on school holiday.

My workshops are not just a pottery class but a complete experience. The time you spend is an investment in a memory that will last a life time. I will teach you how to turn mud into a masterpiece! I also co – founded an artist cooperative gallery in Maple Street, Maleny that has now been operating for 19 years.
