Ceramics is what I love to do. I pour my heart and soul into each and every piece I make from start to finish. It never gets tiresome or boring. I always dream up new ideas and experiment with new techniques and glazes. Even as I write this, I can feel my face light up. My work is always evolving, creating an ever-changing look in my shop. I love fashion, and often times have seasonal trends sneak into my pottery.
I enjoy working with white stoneware and porcelain that I glaze and fire in an electric kiln to 2240 degrees F. I make most of my glazes in house, with only a couple that I purchase from a ceramic supplier.
I started my work as a potter in 2006, after my husband and I moved to Los Angeles. Four years ago, I was lucky enough to quit my day job and start creating pottery in my small messy studio full-time. We currently reside in West Hills with our son Finn.
