Studio Description:

I am a studio artist, currently working and showing in the beautiful United Kingdom. My unique pieces are created in my home studio, where I also offer private lessons in both hand-building and wheel throwing. Additionally, I work part time at a local Arts & Crafts Center in Mildenhall, UK as the Engraver and Ceramics Specialist. I enjoy using all of my artistic capabilities both digital and hand-crafted.
My experiences and travels throughout the world have influenced my works to become the unique, intricate forms they are today. Influences from throughout Europe and the Americas can be found in the shape, color and intricate designs of my works. Bits of Paris, Rome, London, Brussels and the great outdoors can be found in my works. Each piece is a unique taste of the world and the beauty it has to offer.
A genuine love for the arts of all flavors has been a central focus throughout my life. This focus led me to earn a B.F.A. with a concentration in Ceramics with a minor in Art History from Shawnee State University in 2007 and a M.F.A. concentrated in Ceramics from Kent State University in 2010. Throughout my years of collegiate study, I have had the pleasure of learning under several wonderfully gifted artists.
My pieces are available both locally to the U.K. and worldwide. I will be returning to the United States in the Fall of 2013 and setting up a more permanent studio at that time.

Potters Mark:
I sign the bottom of most of my pieces with a cursive JG that intertwines.
