Studio Description:

The work I have been making for the past 20 years, emerges from the porcelain conversation of Asian-European cross pollination; 1700’s thru the late 19th century. Add to this, the long relationship to the botany of Montana, its water birds and fish. The rendering of the designs is accomplished with a water etching process. This creates a sculptural relief enhancing the richness of the glazes. The intention of this art is to bring a bit of the natural world inside and to grace the home and table.
