Studio Description:
I have been a graphic designer by profession for over 30 years and have become addicted to hand building pottery — particularly raku. I love to experiment with different techniques and ways of combining glazes and I thrive on the instant gratification that I get from firing raku in my backyard. I take classes in order to have access to a cone 10 kiln for my stoneware vessels. My studio doesn’t stay in one place. I find myself playing in the mud not just in my studio, but in my office, dining room, patio, classroom or wherever I can find a spot! I am quite prolific and need to share my work with others.
