November Potters’ Pages Highlights
This has been a fabulous year for Potters Council and its members. We have introduced new benefits like the online member directory, mentoring program, international conference and soon the online student show.

We anticipate that 2012 will continue on this path of excellence, and we are looking to add two new board members in March. If you’re interested in being apart of this, please send in your nomination to chris@ccpottery.com by December 19, 2011.

 

This issue of Potters’ Pages highlights the membership in the release of the 2012 PC Member Calendars. PC President John Baymore discusses the importance of availing oneself of educational opportunities.

 

In the News from Members, we highlight an Empty Bowls event that has been going on for ten years in California. Our Student Board member Lee Ann Harrison announces the first annual Potters Council Online Student Juried Exhibition. Be sure to read through it, and share with others who would be interested. Chris Campbell, Past-President of Potters Council rounds out the newsletter with an article entitled, Give Yourself Permission to Fail.

Deadlines to submit your information for Potters’ Pages

  • January 2012: Submit your information by December 7, 2011

  • May 2012: Submit your information by April 4, 2012
