July Potters’ Pages Highlights
In the July issue of Potters’ Pages, Steven Branfman, Potters Council President Elect, shares his story about how he became a potter. He was inspired to tell his story after seeing the April 22, Potters Council Question of the Week: Did you start with pottery by accident or by design? His story My Beginnings as a Potter is on page one. Be sure to read it and check out how other members’ responded in the forum. It has been so interesting reading how others became involved in clay, so be sure to add your story to the forum.
Looking for exhibition, classes, or workshops close to you, then be sure to review 2012 events on pages six and seven, and remember Potters Council members can submit as many events as they want. Members want to know what is going on in their neighborhood whether you live in Indianapolis, Indiana or London, England. Our membership is spread around the world.
I would love to hear feedback on what you think of this issue or on Potters’ Pages in general at cdorr@ceramics.org.
