In the January issue of Potters’ Pages, we are focused on the upcoming election of board members and President Elect. We encourage you to read each candidates statement and review their bios online. By reviewing each of the candidates you can best pick who to represent you on the Potters Council Board.
You might find the article by Steven Branfman, “Crafting a Career in Clay” to be helpful to you or someone you know. This article is on page one. Our new section, In the Studio, has become a real hit with the membership. In this issue it features ceramic how-to by member Amy Sanders. If you have a how-to to share, be sure to submit by February 5, 2013. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your ideas.
Looking for exhibition, classes, or workshops close to you, then be sure to review 2013 events on page five, and remember Potters Council members can submit as many events as they want. Members want to know what is going on in their neighborhood whether you live in Indianapolis, Indiana or London, England.
Our membership is spread around the world. Deadline to submit for the next issue is February 13, 2013.
I would love to hear feedback on what you think of this issue or on Potters’ Pages in general at email@example.com.
