Deadline for Submission has been Extended to Sept. 1, 2009
Important Announcement: Potters Council is extending its deadline for the juried show “FILL-adelphia” to be held in conjunction with NCECA 2010 to September 1, 2009. We have had many requests from Members for an extension. So if you have been thinking about submitting NOW is the time.

Potters Council is pleased to announce its first juried exhibition to be held in conjunction with NCECA 2010 in Philadelphia.

The name of the show is “FILL-adelphia.” The theme combines the very utilitarian word “fill” with the Greek word “adelphia,” which means a group of the members of a particular profession or brotherhood. If you are currently not a member of Potters Council now is the time to join, because we are challenging our members to explore every meaning of the word “fill.” Interpretations can be as functional as a beer mug, as symbolic as a mother’s arms or as metaphorical as a box of rain.

Potters Council Juried Show
DID YOU KNOW that as a Potters Council member you can submit an entry for the juried show “FILL-adelphia?” This show is open to all members of Potters Council. Sherman Hall, editor of Ceramics Monthly will be the juror for the show. His vast experience with contemporary and historical ceramics makes him uniquely qualified to choose a fantastic show from our members’ work.

We expect to display at least 30 pieces of our members’ work in A Show of Hands Gallery, Philadelphia, PA. For complete details, entry qualifications and submission requirements go here. Remember deadline for entries is September 1, 2009.
