Founded in 1974, The Clay Studio is a non-profit educational arts organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the ceramic arts and the work of new clay artists. We seek to fulfill our mission through cutting-edge exhibitions, artist residencies, low-cost studio space, broad educational programs (including the award-winning Claymobile program) and by maintaining an exquisite brick & mortar (and online) ceramic shop. We strive to serve a diverse constituency, from practicing artists & collectors to disenfranchised children getting their first experience with clay.
