Studio Description:
I’m a ceramic artist and dog lover with beautiful cocker spaniels who are my muses. My ceramics reflect the joy of my life with my dogs and I attempt to capture the joy others feel for their dogs. I create functional ceramic pieces (teapots, casseroles, decanters, fountains/birdbaths, bowls, mugs, jars, my copy written “Buddy Vase” © right) with canine and other animal themes. They are wheel-thrown, hand-built, or a combination of both, and high-fired. All pieces are completely lead-free and food-safe.

Most of my ceramic work is commissioned and I have won many national and international awards, including a special award at the prestigious “Art Show at the Dog Show” in 2000. My work has been exhibited at the Chiaroscuro Galleries in Chicago and at Swain’s Galleries in Plainfield, NJ. I have served as the Director of the Ceramics Department and Instructor in Ceramics I, II, and III at the DuCret School of Art in Plainfield, New Jersey. I am a member of NCECA, the Potters Council as well as the Arts Council of Princeton and several national and state dog clubs as well!
