Studio Description: A recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts / Fellowship Grant, Susan is also Past President of the Erie Art Museum, Erie, Pennsylvania; Chairman Emeritus of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts; and is a Trustee of the Erie Community Foundation. Among others, her work is included in the collections of the Smithsonian Institution; the Philadelphia Museum of Art; the Cincinnati Art Museum & the International Ceramic Museum, Kecskemet, Hungary. Lecturing in Prague (The Czech Republic), Sao Paolo (Brazil), Wellington (New Zealand) et al, she has just returned from speaking in the United Kingdom where her commissioned essay “Landscape / Drawing’”will be published in Drawing - The Purpose, in 2008.
