Studio Description: Wild, fun and functional ceramic art. I make candle holders, candle lamps, jars, fountains, and table lamps. I first got started in ceramics in high school because it was an easy A. I have never really had any formal training in ceramics. The high school teacher pretty much let me do what ever I wanted. I started out making regular bowls and that was fun, but then I realized that I could make two bowls in one (a chip n dip kind of thing). After that I kept trying to add more and more layers/tiers to my wheel thrown “bowls”. I also got interested in texturing with hand tools and making cool patterns that the glaze could sink into. My most recent ceramic adventures are what you see in my artist profile and Etsy shop. I have really refined my technique since the high school days (10 years ago). I am extremely happy with my “product” and I don’t think you will find anything quite like it anywhere else.
