Studio Description:The forms of my pottery come from the need to show energy and movement. My intuitive actions take over when I am working and the clay begins to take life, the results reflecting functional forms with a sculptural attitude. I combine hand built forms with thrown elements, combining traditional and sculptural techniques. The process of making art is evolutionary. The inspiration that I receive from creating one piece is infused into the next.
