| Studio Description:
In my private studio in San Diego, I create ceramic sculptures which build upon a strong
attention to detail and my interest in living forms. I draw my inspiration from many
sources to create life-like forms that suggest powerful emotions and encourage viewers to
experience my pieces with their senses of sight and touch. My sculptures are all handbuilt
and made from terra-cotta and stoneware. I prefer working with underglazes, stains, or
having my pieces bronzed to highlight the intricate carvings I incorporate into each
