About Me

Hi, I am a 47 year old woman living in Cape Town, South Africa. I still have a day job but have had pottery classes for the last 3 years up until December 2012.

This year I have started equiping my own studio at home where I can continue practising and learning. My studio consist of quite a number of tools and a very old pottery wheel which I bought secondhand.

I don't have my own kiln yet but are hoping to have one installed in the not too distant future. After 3½ years, I have yet to sell any of my pots - the majority has found homes with family and friends.

    Hello Marko, yes I was born in South Africa. Grew up in the "country" or farming areas outside Cape Town and moved to Cape Town to attend high school and stayed. Got married, had 3 kids and now that they are all grown decided this is the best time to start doing what I always wanted to do - pottery. I love it though still a hobby (expensive one) at this stage.
