About Me
As a succulent plant collector I was always looking for unique pots and, about 20 years ago took a weekend hand building pottery class and never stopped. My pots are constructed using slabs, coils, and extrusions. My markets are higher end plant collectors who are looking for show and exhibition pots and hobby growers who just want a cool pot for their special plant. I do a few specialized sales a year at plant show/sale venues and am in three local galleries.
My kiln and home are powered with a 3200 watt photovoltaic solar electric generating system and my ceramics are all fired using renewable energy, thus making my pots the "greenest" in California.
When not in my studio, you would find me surfing the local waves, playing with my grandson, traveling, or in my greenhouse.
With all these doings, my spiritual practice focuses on being present, coming from my heart, speaking my truth with compassion, and being open to outcome.
