About Me
I am a beginner potter but have a background in many crafts. I ran a professional hand weaving studio for almost 30 years using only natural fibres which were all hand dyed. We exported to Canada, Germany and Australia until recently as well as catering for the tourism market in New Zealand. International conditions have changed and with that, so has the tourism industry so I minimsed the weaving studio in 2003 and opened an art gallery in 2004 catering for the individual traveller rather than coach tours.
I have always wanted to make pots and have finally started to set up a work area, gradually converting the weaving studio to a clay one. Fibre and clay are not good companions!
