About Me
Although I've been doing pottery for about 9 years, I still consider myself a beginner potter! I have recently established my own studio in my home, having worked in a teaching studio for 4 years. In order to grow in my art, I am taking classes at a local University. I'm really enjoying the art classes and learning a lot. I will be taking my first ceramics class in September, 2011. I am always ready to learn! ... and am very excited to read my Ceramics Monthly, Pottery Makers Illustrated, and all of the posts on Ceramics Arts Daily!
In addition to my pottery, I am in charge of keeping up 3 acres around our home and enjoy playing in the yard with our 2 Min. Schnauzers who love watching me feed the fish in our 1/4 acre pond. We have a beautiful home - but it takes a lot of work.
I am an active leader in our Unitarian Universalist Church. This volunteerism also takes a good bit of time, too, but now that I am working at home, I really value the community at church.
