About Me
I am a studio potter, living, working and showing in the United Kingdom. This has provided a very convenient way for me to see may of the European destinations I dreamed of in my younger years and has consequently given me an even longer list of places I still need to see.
My works' emphasis is a coiling technique which I developed during my collegiate studies in ceramics. My master's work was done at Kent State University, culminating in a Master of Fine Arts. I enjoy using an array of colors and shapes in my pieces, showcasing and emphasizing the light around them.
When I'm not making pottery pieces, I often find myself restoring a neglected kiln or bringing other types of studio equipment back to life. I have rebuilt a variety of electric kilns and will branch out into gas and wood when I return to the U.S. later this year.
