About Me

Raised in the small pottery town of Dalton, Ohio and influenced by the Roseville, Zanesville, & Rookwood styles. 4-week apprenticeship with Oklahoma art potter, David Greer while at undergrad school (College of the Ozarks, Arkansas). Otherwise self taught potter. M.A. in Design and Sculpture, Wesleyan U. CT.


Noted for fine craftsmanship, 1-up unique designs, & brilliant red glazes. Currently doing Southern-influenced face jugs in turn of the century impressionist styles. Only potter accepted into the Florence (Italy) Fine Arts Biennial 2005, 2009, & 2011.


Major artistic contributor to the North Carolina Zoological Society.
Featured Potter, Sanford Pottery Festival, Seagrove Pottery Festival, and annual exhibitor, Catawba Valley Pottery & Antique Festival, NC.


Headliner this year at the Great American Pottery & Atrisan Show, Fort Mill, SC (Charlotte, NC).
