    usually a gas company will have a chart for the orifice size and btu output. Many gases vary by location.

    it needs to be 50k or less.
    I prepare my photos to that size, put the in a file or label then as a "sm" version.
    Then when it says choose a file, I go select it, upload it, and there it is.

    Please put some photos in your gallery. If you can add an avatar to make you stand out from the ghostly head so many people have.

    I have had students make drums over the years. The sinew for seuring the skin does distract from the decoration.
    During my last teaching job, I showing the udu drums video by Frank Giorgini. They do not use a skin.
    One day my students were jamming with their drums and sounded really good. Google them and think if you could use that idea.
    Your decoration is very nice...too nice to cover up.

    The tile on the right looks like uneven application with possible brush strokes showing and causing the blotchy look. It is darker than I expected.
    I doubt if it has lead if it was fired to cone 6. That is not a common flux at that temperature. But you can test it as suggested.
    Is there enough glaze to dip the pieces?

    My geeky astrophysics husband has been using internet -like communications like bit-net and use-net since the early 1980s.
    The internet as we know it using mosaic started about the early 1990s.
    I was on the clay art discussion groups with Richard Burkett and Joe Molinaro when Matt and I started going together in 1993. He geeked early in the morning and thought I should too.
    It really has expanded quite a lot.

    My first computer was a Commadore 64, then an Apple and its been Apple ever since.
    Here is something I found to be oxymoron-ish. Distance learning class on Interpersonal Communition.
    Maybe that is what internet forums need...a level of acceptable rhetoric for internet social behavior.

    I am re-retired from teaching full time at the University. I am happy to have my life back and looking forward to teaching workshops and working in m studio. I have lots of creative energy waiting to get back tp work.

    beginning to prepare for Fall semester at a new teaching job at a great facility on the beautiful campus of University of Texas -Brownsville. Only concern is dodging bullets from Matadoros, Mx and the drug cartels.Bullets have hit campus buildings..seriously.
