About Me

Art Department Technician in a UK State School in the Midlands. We have a good pottery for this kind of school, with 2 old but reliable electric kilns. I am new to ceramics, having a painting background, but am enjoying learning and exploring in this wonderful medium.
To date my experimental projects include a porcelain tea set (as in my avatar) and trying some reduction firing in a saggar I made a few months ago. I hope to learn some throwing soon when we renew our wheels.
