koreyej sharing my studio with a 3 year old
About Me
I have been playing with clay for over 20 years. After having my son, I decided to stay home and set up my pottery studio. That sounds so simple. It wasn't. Now I share my clay studio with my 3-year-old son and love it.
I work mainly in stoneware to cone 6 in electric. However, I am glad to get in on a woodfire or raku when I can, and I occassionally blackware fire. Most of my work is wheel-thrown and altered, but I enjoy slab and handbuilding as well. Basically, I will use any and all methods to give my work the structure or surface I want. I am also a certified art teacher, and occassionally offer lessons and substitute teach.
