About Me
I am happy to announce that as a potter I think I have progressed from being a "total beginner" to a "complete novice".
I think if I was in Japan I would be at the point where I would possibly be allowed to fire one of my pots.
Questing still for repeatability of my wheel thrown forms.
Getting to the point where my cups don't weigh as much as other peoples 12" vases.
Trying to go to as many wood firings as possible ... very interested in the wood fired surface.
Employed at Sheffield Pottery so here in the forums to increase the breadth of my knowledge as well as seeking inspiration for my own throwing and firings.
Pleased to be here!
