  1. To re-bisque or not to re-bisque?

    Hi all,

    I've been experimenting a lot with underglazes lately. I normally bisque my pots and then apply underglaze which I then fire to the desired temperature of my clay body.
    I just wanted to know peoples thoughts on whether it is really necessary bisquing an underglaze again and why? Taking the pot straight to temperature seems to work just fine so why do some people say that this is necessary?

    Hi,
    I've been looking to buy a kiln recently and have found one that I think may suit my needs.
    I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the L&L renaissance 1624?

    for specifics, I fire between ^6 and 10 but mostly 10.
    I also prefer a front loader.
