I am a ceramic artist/maker/designer (can't quite make my mind up, I am having some sort of an identity crisis) living on the South coast of England. I blog regularly and am attempting to start a ceramics revolution of sorts. PLEASE get involved, I think I might be researching for my PHD, but I am not sure yet.

I hand build stoneware and porcelain sculptural vessels (that is my favourite bit). I also make porcelain candle holders, toothbrush holders, soap dishes and the like. This is intended to bring in a bit of cash. Sell-ables if you like. I enjoy making them, they are functional in all senses, they do stuff and they make money. The other sculptural stuff is much more personal. With out sounding to nobby, the sculptural pieces are an attempt to embody my ideas and thoughts in some way. Again this is something I don't fully understand myself yet, a work in progress, possibly a life's work.
