See attached and below on our Fall 2013 workshop offering with Curtis Benzle. An exhibit of Curtis' work exhibit will be on display from Sept. 14-Oct. 27, 2013 Artist Talk and Reception is from 7pm-9pm on Friday Oct. 25, 2013

“Color in Clay”

October 25-27, 2013
$200.00 ($190.00 Students/Members)
October 25- Reception and Slide Talk-7pm-9pm (Building W-16)
October 26-27 Workshop 10am-4pm (Building W-8)
“Color in Clay” will explore and explain the range of expressive potential uncovered when color is actually in your clay!
Day one will introduce techniques including Neriagi (marbleizing), Nericomi, slips and a brief technical discussion of how to make colored clays, color blends and pattern generation.
Day two will be dedicated to hands-on reexamination of the concepts introduced on Saturday.

Hi Folks,
A reminder that deadline to register for the below K-12 Art Edcuators Workshop on June 1st in collaboration with AMACO is fast approaching-May 4, 2013
The Workhouse Arts Center in collaboration with AMACO will be offering two dates this year for Professional Development Workshops in Ceramics for K-12 Art Educators in the Mid-Atlantic region. Cost is $5 Workshops run from 11am-5pm.
June 1, 2013-deadline to register is May 4, 2013
September 21, 2013-deadline to register is August 24, 2013

These Professional Development workshops will be lead by Diana Faris-AMACO's Director of Educational Outreach. CEU credit is available with these workshops.
