For fun I got a small jar of 2004 high temperature black stain. No where on the jar does it give mixing instructions. I use white stoneware clay and have a lot of dried trimmings but have no clue where to start with stain to dry clay ratio. I sent an email to spectrum last week; no reply yet. I'll experiment but a starting point would be helpful. Thanks :)

Some underglaze recipes use as much as 25% stain. If the black is strong, start with 10% and add a few grams. Fire the tests and see what increments work best for you.
