I spilled a container of wax resit on a brand new shelf. I scraped off all i could. Can i just bisque it by itself to burn off the wax?

Could have been worse. Could have been a jar of gold lustre. Or maybe a bottle of cobalt carb. mixed as a slip.Fire up your bisque kiln, and make sure you are out of the room while it is firing.

good lesson in disappearing wax! No residue just lots of stinky carbon.

I have a vent system, i wonder what would be the lowest temp cone wise to burn this off? And yes a bottle of gold luster would have been worse in $$$ and smell.

I would take it up to 1000F to be safe. Just fire it up fast. I generally notice wax burning smell at around 600 degrees.
