Interesting -- don't give up "grandma's" pyrex. Lessons on changes in basic materials and following directions regarding use apply to clay, also.

yea, old Pyrex used to be made of Borosilicate glass. Sadly not today.

Interesting article. Now I know it is not me just imagining the difference in newer Pyrex. In addition, the numbers came off my new Pyrex measuring cup I when I ran it through the dishwasher, and another Pyrex measuring cup dribbles when it pours. That was aggravating, but now I am afraid to even use them in the microwave.
