I found a thread about this where someone gave a recipe - something like; 1 part stain, 1 part frit, 1 part bentonite. I kept the page open, went out to walk the dog, came back to get the recipe to make it and my computer had crashed - do you think i can find that thread again! NO!

Please, what was the recipe to turn a stain into an underglaze?

This is a recipe for low fire ^04 underglaze stain from Val Cushing.
By weight:
25 ep kaolin
25 frit 3110
25 stain....you can vary the stain for intensity. 25 or 1/3 is pretty intense.

This is mostly using for highlighting textured surfaces.
