I have a Speedball Artista wheel tha it bought a few months ago. It was set for left handed use, but I called the company and they told me how to open the unit and switch the wires for right handed use. Since then, the wheel head seems slightly off (tilting a bit) which is very pronounced when a plastic bat is on it. Plastic bars came with it. The wheel makes a whooshing sound. It has a warranty and I can send it for repair, but I wanted to see if there was a solution suggestion. When I go to pottery class, I can through a pot well, but at home, it doesn't go so well. My spouse thinks its the wheel. What do you think? Thanks!

I would first check to make sure there isn't something wrong with the bat.

true. Many times the holes for bat pins are slightly off. Check the wheel head without bats on it. When you opened it up, did you actually do anything to the mechanics like the shaft or gear box?I have a little Artista but I never needed to do any repairs on it. It is a second wheel and I don't use it that often.
