I am making some ^05 earthenware sculptures that have potentially fragile appendages and joints. (I'll eventually be using cold finishes on the outside.) Would glazing the inside improve their strength?

I think I'd ad fiber to the clay rather than count on a glass coating a few mm thick. Glaze is not really a structural element.it is a very thin coating. Maybe it would be better than nothing, but you could run into problems of surface tension with only one side (inside) having glaze on it.
