Just got back from a three day throwing intensive workshop in Virginia at Nan Rothwell's studio. Nan is not only a great potter, she is a gifted teacher. I had reached a plateau in my throwing skills and needed to kick start the creative juices. This workshop did that and more. Don't think I have ever been so productive. Thanks Nan!

One of my favorite mugs is one of Nan's ... She is a lovely person and a gifted potter.

Nan is awesome. She is quite unassuming but really knows her stuff.
I am fortunate to have one of her nice slant carved pieces in my bathroom. She is a Past President of Potters Council and practices a traditional methods of pottery in the Leach tradition.
CAD has a video by her. Anyone going to NCECA may be fortunate to see her demonstrating in the trade show exhibits
one of the suppliers.
