Please recommend some books about ceramic

I'm a newbi learning ceramics, can anyone recommend some ceramic books to me? More like some theories. I want to learn how to design ceramics and the differences between morden and contemporary ceramic art. Thanks alot Posted Image

Robin Hopper's books are very good, well researched.
Clary Illian has a great book on design.

Clary Illian has a great book on design.

Hands in Clay, Studio Handbook, Clary's, Robin's... Actually almost any book you find out there is pretty darn good. Comprehensive books like Hands in clay are the best place to start.
