Robin Hopper's books are very good, well researched.
Clary Illian has a great book on design.

Hands in Clay, Studio Handbook, Clary's, Robin's... Actually almost any book you find out there is pretty darn good. Comprehensive books like Hands in clay are the best place to start.

This is THE place to research and purchase ceramic books and DVDs in the USA:

You will find nowhere as knowledgable about what is out there. Steven Branfman and his staff are fantastic.
