Museums certainly fall under the topic of "Education" in the broad sense.
The T-Shirt with the image of Hamada Shoji's face that I was discussiing at our "Mashiko Rebuilds" presentation given at the recent Seattle NCECA conference is NOW available online and in English.
Proceeds from the sale go to the rebuilding effort at the Mashiko Sankokan (Hamada Reference Collection Museum) that was so badly damaged in the March 2011 earthquake.
Only $40 each and includes shipping. Please help restore this wonderful musuem that perserves Hamada's collection of folk art objects from around the world, his own work, his home and workshop and grounds, and his historical kilns. Thanks.
