I have become the new owner of a little Duncan EA-122 kiln, model LT-3K. It is small, runs on 110, and I am so excited to have it.

BUT.....I have not been able to find out much about this little kiln. I know Paragon deals with the Duncan kilns now, do they have a manual I can download? Could not find one.

I need to know what the capabilities of this kiln are. What are the upper limits, temp-wise? The lady who gave it to me just used it for China paint and such.

I had in mind to use it for fast bisque jobs, tests, or little glazes like jewelry. My husband is looking at it with proprietary eyes, he wants to do glass work in it.

I would appreciate any information anybody has about this kiln.

EA Series Manual

LT-3K is actually just the model number of the kiln sitter itself. The serial plate on the kiln should say max temperature. If it doesn't, you'll need to call Paragon directly. They have a lot of info on the Duncan kilns, but not all of them.

Is Arnold around? He would know.

The EA-122 instruction manual is not on our website. I will be happy to mail you a paper copy, though. Just email your address to me. The EA-122 should be able to fire up to cone 05 depending on the age of the elements.

Sincerely,
