Yep, all the "drapes" are gone. I took three 1 liter containers, added small amount of water to the first one, twice as much to the second and three times as much to the third. The second one was perfect.

Of course the roughness of the stoneware remained, but that is ok.

If you are happy with this mix, weigh it using a 1 litre slip volume. When you mix clay in future, you can use that as a guide.

Yes all the "drapes" and the roughness went away

It is funny the factory recipe recommends 1670 gr/liter, I made 1720 gr/liter (since in my experience 1700-1800 is the best) and it was awful, then I made 1630 gr/liter in a small container and it was great!
It does wet my mold a little bit more but it is worth. It didn`t effect the brittleness though.


I have already used a big fat marker and labeled it 1630.
