ONE MILLION BONES BENEFIT AT LILLSTREET: CALL TO ARTISTS & ACTIVISTS

Posted Image

In Spring of 2013, one million bones- made by artists, activists, and students- will flood our nation's capital. One Million Bones is a collaborative art installation designed to recognize the millions of victims and survivors who have been killed or displaced by ongoing genocides and mass atrocities in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Burma. All ages are welcome.

Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16, 10am-4pm

Walk in- Sign in- Make some Bones.

$15 participation fee and minimum $5 donation per bone

Our goal: 412 handmade bones, twice the 206 bones in the human body.

For One Million Bones to realize its vision, we need people to create and donate bones for this event. Get involved. For more information, visit: www.onemillionbones.org.
